Hi there,
I'm running a TS1250 in my sump. Recently the water level changes dramatically with the tiniest adjustment of the "paddle". If I move it up or down by a millimeter the water level can change by up to an inch which in turn puts the column of bubbles in a totally different place. Also the level settles for a couple of days and then seems to raise or ower on it's own, I am constantle adjusting the paddle to get the level correct. I did take the skimmer apart a while back to clean it and am wondering if I've put it back correctly although I can see where there's much to do wrong when putting it back together. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
Hi Leigh
Its possible that one of the pump components isn't quite fitted correctly or
possibly the reaction chamber isn't
being held in place allowing it to leak air out from under the reaction tube
into the next chamber.
Please refer to the following links to check that the pump has been put
together correctly and the body components
are in the correct place, also make sure the white nylon screws are holding
all components and they are not loose.

Cleaning can also cause fluctuations in water level until the plastics have
settled and become 'wetted' as this will cause
changes in water tension. This should stabilise 7-14 days after cleaning. I
take it the skimmer was previously working well
before the clean?
hope this helps
Tony
